Imouzzer Marmoucha is located at an altitude of 1,713 m, at the end of the Middle Atlas, near Taza (latitude: 33° 28' 37 N, longitude: 4° 17' 44 W). The region is known for its landscapes, its immense forests, its medium and high altitude mountains. The complexity of the relief means that Immouzer Marmoucha has become a favorite area for hikers and mountain lovers. The inhabitants are mainly Amazighs belonging to the great tribe of Marmouchas, the sub-tribes being: Ait Bazza, Ait Messaâd, Ait Al Mane, Ait Youb, Ait Lahcen, Ait Benaissa and Ait Smah, Ait Makhlouf, Ait Mioune, Ait El azz, Ait Hssain, Issibutan, Imjrane.......
